We locked ourselves
in a room for three days.
March 2021. The founding team mapped every calculation, every edge case, every rule that existed only in someone's head. By day three it covered three whiteboards.
Engineers who'd never

We hired engineers with zero dental experience. First task: calculate associate pay by hand using real payslips. They hated every minute of it. That was the point.

First live client. 47 associates. £1.2M in pay processed in 23 minutes. Zero disputes. The finance director cried. She said it was hay fever.
